Out to eat at Transmetropolitan in Athens with the friends I've had the longest-Esther and Claire. We got some looks for our snorting laughter and random ( and I mean RANDOM) conversation topics that were somewhat overheard, but it wouldn't be a day out with the girls otherwise!!! =)

So long posters of bands. Au revoir tiger-print French board. Sayonara periwinkle walls and bedspread. Hit the road bags and bags and bags of random objects, papers, ex-boyfriend junk from junior high and ninth grade, notes from high school, old diaries that I haven't looked at in years, and other crud that I threw away or am selling!

Helloooooo blue walls and brown bedding, couch that we haven't found yet, and display thingy in the picture that I still need to paint! Come on in, accent pillows, grown up pictures and frames, shelves that look good, and classy displays of things that I actually want to look at! I've been waiting for this bedroom to graduate from high school for years! WOOHOO!!

Yeah....funny story. I parked at the Tate lot but out of habit went back to the parking deck that I usually park at.....on the OTHER side of campus. That's a 15 minute BUS RIDE- then I had to walk from where the cars in the far distance are to past where I took the picture from and up to the 3rd level of the deck I usually park at before I realized I had to go back across campus to my car. That was a waste of life. I am a creature of habit.

This is the kickoff to Greek Week competitions at Tech-Tom's fraternity brothers in TUG (the most intense tug of war I have ever witnessed.) I was yelling like a little cheerleader for their team; it was so exciting! UGA just doesn't get into Greek Week like other schools. =(
